Apple have mobilized their squadron of iPhone SDK evangelists to tour around the world for a few months and do just that; evangelize.

First stretch of the day was probably the most compelling to me as the slides in the afternoon mostly showed lines of code. As I’m no developer (yet) it pretty much looked like jibberish to me. Interesting points made regarding iPhone memory usage and how to optimize for longer battery life.

For some reason, you’re not allowed to blog, tweet or in any way “leak” information that you might have learned during these sessions. This strikes me as rather odd as virtually everything Apple talked about today can be found in full in their SDK related documention.

Last but not least, for all of you that have been dying to find out if they gave away free shirts, the answer is yes.
