
The Daily Influence is a great initiative from Netvibes, John Bell and the rest of the Ogilvy 360° Digital Influence team. It’s an Ogilvy branded Netvibes page (a RSS based personal news aggregator) with a rather comrehensive collection of a what many would consider the absolute essential news intake for a communications practioner in the digital space. As described by Bell in his “Why We Created The Daily Influence” blog post, to be fully able to leverage the potential of social media in a business context you have to understand the essence of it. Reading these feeds certainly won’t replace actual practical experience and engagement on networks but they are certainly a great start.
